10 Days in Peru… Sabbath

Today and yesterday, we have had some nice and well earned time off. Yesterday we headed an hour south to the town of Paracas which is much more touristy than where we work and live each day. We took a boat from there 30 minutes into the Pacific Ocean to an island of rocks that housed thousands and thousands of birds, penguins, and sea lions. It was an amazing experience and a nice activity for our day off!

Today we´re spending the day worshipping and learning with the Methodists in Peru. This morning we helped with Sunday School for the children, participated in the feeding ministry and tonight at 6 p.m. we will worship with the Methodists in Chincha.

We get back to work tomorrow with laying tile, painting, and making a brick fence. If I ever to access to a computer newer than the 1990s, I´ll post some pictures. Otherwise, you will just have to wait until I´m back in the States!
